Born in Brazil in 1959. Compiled experiences in many places in Europe, he held a position of assistant professor in the University of New Mexico and in the Iowa State University. He got doctor's degree in USA in 1988 and now is professor at the University of North Caroline School of the Arts. And , he holds a position of chief judge in the Young Artist Contest, at the America’s National Flute Association Competition.In his 3 times visits in Japan, needless to say about his excellent performance, his sharp coaching and breathing technique lessons are highly evaluated.
